Take Me Back: The Navigation Program That Helps You Remember Places
Take Me Back is a free navigation program developed by Dzyga for Android devices. It is designed to help you remember places you would like to revisit in the future. With this program, you can mark any location on the map or add a marker near your destination.
One of the unique features of Take Me Back is the radar display, which shows the distance and direction of your saved locations. The size of the markers on the radar depends on the distance from your current position to each location. Using a magnetic compass, the radar rotates to indicate the real direction to your selected point, with the N symbol showing the orientation to the north.
Take Me Back is helpful in navigating in the mountains, on the water, in the forest, or in an unfamiliar city. You can keep track of all your saved locations in the side menu, where you can sort them by color, date of addition, name, or distance. To avoid getting lost while on a trip, you can save the start point and open the radar later to show you the way back.
With GPS on your phone, you can always find your way back to your desired location, even in unfamiliar areas. Take Me Back is not only useful for navigating but also for fun games in nature, city quests, and treasure hunts.
